Anafranil SR can interact with SSRIs (such as sertraline, paroxetine, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine), St. John’s Wort, other tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), lithium, quinidine, linezolid, MAO inhibitors, SNRIs, CNS depressants (alcohol, benzodiazepines), anticonvulsants (carbamazepine, phenytoin, barbiturates), medications with anticholinergic effects (antihistamines, Parkinson’s medications), and diuretics.
