Nexletol (bempedoic acid) may cause side effects such as muscle pain, increased uric acid levels, and upper respiratory tract infections. Some people may also experience stomach pain, back pain, or elevated liver enzymes. Serious side effects are rare but can include tendon rupture or severe allergic reactions.
