While taking ursodiol, avoid consuming high-fat foods as they can reduce the effectiveness of the medication. Also, inform your doctor about all other medications and supplements you are taking, as some drugs may interact with ursodiol. Do not take aluminum-based antacids within two hours of ursodiol, as they may decrease its absorption.
