People who have a history of bowel obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, perforation, or pheochromocytoma should not take metoclopramide. It is also not recommended for individuals with a history of tardive dyskinesia or allergy to the medication. Always consult a healthcare provider before starting metoclopramide.
