Adults usually take 2 Imodium (loperamide) pills (4 mg) after the first loose stool, then 1 pill (2 mg) after each additional loose stool. Do not take more than 8 pills (16 mg) in 24 hours. Always follow the instructions on the package or ask your doctor for advice.
