Tendon rupture is a rare but possible side effect of Nexletol (bempedoic acid). In clinical trials, tendon rupture occurred in about 0.2% of patients taking Nexletol. The risk may be higher in people over 60, those taking corticosteroids or fluoroquinolones, or with a history of tendon disorders.
