While using Aldara, avoid exposure to sunlight or tanning beds, as the medication can make your skin more sensitive to UV rays. Do not apply it to broken, irritated, or sunburned skin, and avoid getting it in your eyes, mouth, or nose. Also, avoid covering the treated area with bandages unless directed by your doctor.
