Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) should not be taken with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of stopping an MAOI, as this can cause serious, potentially life-threatening interactions. It should also be used with caution when combined with other central nervous system depressants, such as alcohol, benzodiazepines, or opioids, as this may increase drowsiness or risk of overdose. Always consult your doctor about potential drug interactions before starting Flexeril.
