Rocephin, also known as ceftriaxone, is most commonly used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. These include infections of the lungs, urinary tract, skin, bones, joints, and sometimes meningitis and gonorrhea. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic given by injection.
