Synthroid (levothyroxine) is usually recommended to be taken in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30-60 minutes before eating, to ensure the best absorption. However, some people may take it at night if it fits their schedule better, as long as it is taken consistently and not with food or other medications that may interfere with absorption. Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding timing.
