Do not take this medication if you have a seizure disorder, are currently taking Zyban, Wellbutrin XL, Wellbutrin SR, Aplenzin, Budeprion, or Forfivo, have a current or past diagnosis of anorexia nervosa or bulimia, are using or have recently used monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), are allergic to bupropion or any ingredients in the medication, or are discontinuing alcohol or sedatives abruptly. Following these guidelines reduces the risk of dangerous interactions or side effects.
