Clomid should not be used if you are currently pregnant, have liver disease, have an unknown cause of abnormal uterine bleeding, have edema or ovarian cysts not caused by PCOS, have untreated thyroid or adrenal gland problems, or have a pituitary tumor. Avoiding use in these conditions reduces the risk of harmful side effects or ineffective treatment.
