Turmeric, especially in supplement form, should not be mixed with blood thinners, certain cancer drugs, and some diabetes medications due to increased bleeding risk or decreased medication effectiveness. These are not all of the medications that may interact with turmeric. Be sure to talk to your doctor before using turmeric to help avoid serious drug interactions.
